Target audience of this seminar:
The Oncology I course is aimed at veterinarians who wish to acquire basic knowledge in diagnostics, clinical staging and common treatment methods.
Seminar objectives
- Upon completion of this course, participants will achieve the following:
- Gain an understanding of the basics of diagnostics, clinical staging, and paraneoplastic syndromes in canine and feline patients with tumor diseases.
- Knowledge of the various treatment methods used in dogs and cats with neoplastic diseases.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge about legal regulations, handling and risks in dealing with cytotoxic substances, as well as initial practical experience in preparing for chemotherapy.
