Course overview:

In this module, we will focus intensively on two central aspects of soft tissue surgery: On the one hand, you will learn the procedures for skin reconstruction, and on the other hand, we will deal with surgical interventions in the area of the perineum and the anal region.

Learning objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will:

• possess comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of wound care principles,
• be familiar with most methods of skin reconstruction,
• have deep anatomical insights into the perineal and perianal region and
• They can safely perform surgical procedures such as the removal of anal glands, the repair of perineal hernias, and basic operations in the rectal area.
