In view of the fact that this seminar delves into the planning and implementation of the TPLO in an in-depth and concentrated manner, it is necessary that those present already have sound practical experience in the field of knee joint interventions (arthrotomies, alternative surgical healing methods for cruciate ligament disorders).
The one-day seminar includes a mix of theoretical lessons and practical exercises. You will begin with an introduction to the basics of TPLO, including the pathophysiology of ACL tears and the biomechanical basis of the surgery. You will then have the opportunity to take part in practical workshops in which you will learn the TPLO technique under the guidance of Dr. Hettlich and her team can practice on models.
