In this module we focus on orthopedic diseases and surgical procedures on the hind extremities. We provide an in-depth look at the anatomy, causes and latest treatment approaches for each major joint – hip, knee and ankle. We will discuss various surgical procedures, such as procedures on the hip-knee joint, the iliofemoral sling, extracapsular suture techniques and repair of the Achilles tendon.
