Course overview:

In this module, we focus intensively on two central aspects of soft tissue surgery: On the one hand, you will learn the procedures for skin reconstruction, and on the other hand, we will deal with surgical procedures in the perineal and anal regions.

Learning goals:

After completing this course, participants will:

• have comprehensive and current knowledge of wound care principles,
• are familiar with most methods of skin reconstruction,
• have deep anatomical insights into the perineal and perianal region and
• Be able to safely perform surgical procedures such as anal gland removal, perineal hernia repair, and basic rectal surgery.
